So, my brother found a nest with baby mice in it... They're all bald and helpless. The mother hasn't come back for a few hours, and it's pretty cold outside. You cannot glue the crack together cause the wood is so old and has dried and shrunk. Apply some glue to the bottom to seal the crack and prevent further separation. Now stain your top. To get a good finish on the top, use Marine Spar Varnish cut 3 parts varnish to 2 parts mineral spirits. This makes a thinner, easier to spread finish without leaving brush marks. Lightly sand and apply three coats. You will end up with a glass smooth finish on the top.

Can I clean my hamsters cage with babies in?

I ride a 1998 Suzuki vz800 marauder. I love it, but it Is not so great on the freeway due to it's dual carb set up. Do the new boulevards get better gas mileage? You probably need to adjust your truss rod and/or lower the saddles. the Gauges of the strings will affect your action and your truss. Its all about counter-balancing string tension. Baby pigeon in my balcony please help?

I was moving my stuff from the balcony because we are moving, and I saw a pigeon's nest.. there was an egg, and a baby pigeon about a few days old (it can walk, and eat). I just noticed it, and I HAD to remove it's shelter. After awhile it started to rain, and the whole nest ( including the egg) got wet. I put a a oven drawer thing over the nest leaving enough room for the parent pigeons to get in and out from. I found 2 baby blue bird eggs and want to save them...I need help!?

So I was walking outside and found 3 baby blue bird eggs, 2 of them were fine and another one was cracked. I currently have the two that were okay under a heat lamp to keep warm! I want to try to save them but I need advice! Is it true that when you turn the egg the baby drowns inside it? They have Small World complete feed for mice and rats for a mixed food along with Premium Mouse and Rat blocks "vitamin and mineral enriched made with corn and molasses 8 in 1" For treats they have Kaitee Yogurt Chips made for rabbit & Guinea pigs but they like them and I was told they were safe for rats is that true? They also have lil buddy snackers pretzels for hamsters gerbils mice rats rabbits and guinea pigs. Is this ok? for their nesting fluff I use Wild harvest natural bedding for hamsters gerbils rats and mice which is made form the seed pod of the Kapok tree. I have found that my rats also love seedless grapes, watermellwatermelonthe seeds out) tomatoo atomatok oil sun flower seeds along with corn on the cob. is this all safe for them. Honey cake is awesome, so good project. You are right about not using the coffee, it'll just ruin the cake ! Do use half the oil though. The cake will be really chewy and sticky, but it is awesome with tea (not sugared) to give that contrast sweet/bitter.

alright well i have the xbox pro model the white one with the 60 gb Hd and its been doing this for a long time and really now i just wish it would stop you know i have put up with it for a long time but what happens is when i put a disk in it just comes up to open tray like there is no disk in, so after opening and closing the tray about 50 times it will eventually read the disk, a trick i found that used to work was to take the disk out and close the tray with no game then insert a game disk nest time you opened it, but now even this doesnt work so please if you have the same problem or a way to fix it i would appreciate it

I walked down a long hallway with floating black balloons but i had to keep ducking underneath them because the strings would sting me like jellyfish. So I made it to the end of the hallway and walked through the door and into a room made of windows that was up really high. There was this lady I had never met lying in a hospital bed, but the bed was made of school desks covered in tarps, but they looked like newspapers. There were these bugs & spiders crawling out of her like she wasn't even alive. I tried to ask her who she was, but no sound would come from my mouth no matter how much I screamed. A nurse came in & put a straight jacket on me...and quickly, the straight jacket became stained with blood. I asked the nurse why, & she said that bleeding without wounds was a side effect of the glue I had ingested. So I opened my mouth & all this dust & birds flew out, and the birds were holding little bags of Elmer's Glue. Then I look over at the lady, and she looked older. I looked in the mirror that randomly appeared, and realized I was older as well. Question about robin behavior?

We have robins who have built a nest on the crutch of a roof drain under the overhang. There are currently three baby robins we can watch being fed. The nest is our rear door and if we open the door and come out, the adult robin (mom or dad) will fly from the nest and give an alarm sound (peek calls). I've noticed that the male will do this from nearby, keeping watch on us. But if the female is near as well, she seems to chase after the male, flying to wherever he is perched and nudging him, as birds do on power lines. She will keep moving him along whenever he perches. Its to expensive to switch. Americans are actually open to the metric system and it has been brought up many times in congress. The only thing stopping it is that it would cost way to much money to change everything that is already written or calibrated to the English system. We teach both systems in school anyways and once in college everything is metric so I wouldnt say we are resistant.

Can't remember an old PS2 game?

When i was younger, i had a PS2 i believe, and only two games. One was a nascar type game, the other was a game where I played a green lizard/gecko and collected bananas. At the stage selection screen, you could fall off and die, which would change the world you entered (entering the world consisted of going through giant portal with a faint outline of the world) In the game, there were giant venus fly traps that would try to eat you, and to defeat them I think you had to dodge them when they lunged for you, then hit them while they were stuck. Another part of the game is where you could go down a rabbit hole, and suddenly gain Bugs Bunny ears, and Elmer Fudd tries to shoot you. Past where Elmer walks around, there is a waterfall that you could climb up to advance in the level, but it was almost impossible to climb. Okay so i just graduated high school.. The week of graduation was a very stressful time for me because i was trying so hard to pass Pre cal and my legal guardian (my uncle) and i got into a very discouraging argument about what my chances were of graduating.. To make a long story short, i was called a disappointment and all those wonderful things that parents say but sure enough i graduated... After that, i came back to my hometown to find a job to save money for college and i will be here for the next 6 months. I'm pretty positive my uncle is expecting me to move back with him when the six months are over. But I look back on my years of high school... And he really didn't offer much help besides financial help as well as a roof over my head.But with my dad in prison and my mom out of the picture, i really needed some support with my interest in my extracurriculars, and just needed somebody to be there for me. When my dad was around he would do anything to help me in anything i was struggling in. But my uncle suggested i find help from somebody else.. Honestly i felt like he didn't care about what i did at school. I spent my whole high school career in choir. Music is my life. And he would make no compromises to see me perform or at least try to be involved... Maybe i just compared him too much to my dad... but i really needed him and he wasn't there... And I'm sure when i go to college, i will have a hard time getting around since he is so focused on HIS life HIS plans HIS problems...whatever! One of my close friends invited me to move in with them... And honestly i really want to. But I have never been away from my family... I'm not sure how my relationship with my family will change if i do move out. There are 2 baby budgies(2 weeks old) in the nest with the parents. And when their eyes started to open I started handling them a little bit each day. Now they are 16 and 15 days old. *DISCLAIMER* i am NOT looking to take one from the nest, or planning to take one and raise it all on my own. now to the question. since its the summer, there are allot of storms and i know sometimes baby squirrels and birds fall out of there nests during these storms. and i thought that if there could be baby squirrels injured on the ground and possible nests destroyed and parents possibly killed, it would be good to find the babies that fell before a Predator does. i would keep it warm and safe (i read allot about caring for squirrels in this situation , i know its not nearly enough to raise it im just saying i could keep it alive for an hour while i called a wild life rehabilitator to take him/her). so i was wondering wear to look and how to find them.

I am scared to tell my parents my Regents grade?

so at the end of the school year, we took finals and stuff. and for math and science there are regents (for the classes i take). i told my mom about the regular final results i got. (which were like 97 & 98). on my earth science regents i got a 96. on my algebra 1 regents i got 89!! i was soooo disappointed! i studied soooo much for it! math is my worst subject. but being asian, i'm expected to have it as my best subject! and i'm freaking scared to tell my parents, so kinda sorta lied saying that the regents scores are gonna come in august. but i knew my scores already cuz the teachers had them (they have to put the regents grade into our averages). so if i bring up now that i actually do know the grades for my regents, wouldn't they yell at me? since i said idk the grades for them yet... cuz i'm willing to retake my algebra 1 regents in august, but for that i need to tell them! Dirt bike tire size questions?

Well, I picked up a Kawasaki Dirt Bike that I have been restoring, its a 1975. It still has the original (and now bald) rear tire on it. The tire either says the size is 3.00-14 or 300-14. I believe its metric measurements but not sure. I found a nice tire but it is size 300-16... I was wondering what the differences between the -14 and -16 are at the end of the size code. After about a month though I'd take the eggs out because lovebird eggs usually hatch in 18 to 24 days. I hope this helps.

Why does my bunny growl and lunge at me?

I have 2 bunnies, I dont know there age, but we are assuming around 4 months old. The people at the store we got them from did not know their age. But they were really nice and sweet when we had them inside, and we pet them and play with them, and let them outside to play for a while. But when we put them in their cage, and we didnt really let them out at all, one became very aggressive. She growls when I try and pet her and then she lunges at me, scratches and bites me too. And when I try and touch my male rabbit who is very tame, she lunges at me, but he doesnt do anything. I was thinking that it might be because she is stressed out being inside the cage all day because its only a 4x4. But I've become afraid of her, and I'm too scared to lift her out of the cage to let her play, so I have to try and shove her in a box to let her play. But Max(male bunny) is really sweet and tame. I dont understand. There has been some other weird behaviors too. Ruby(agressive female bunny) will chew up the card board box we put in there to let them nest in, and she just chews it all up and spreads it on the floor of the cage. I have put in 7 boxes, and she just chews them up, and spreads it around. I just dont want her being mean, and I dont know what to do. There is a possiblilty she is pregnant too. She lives with a male rabbit. Please help me.

I was watching a bird's nest for a while, there was an American Goldfinch and a Brown-Headed Cowbird in the nest. This nest was a result of brood parasitism, from the Cowbird. The two birds hatched and I began observing them. Already there was a HUGE size difference between the two babies. Anyways, three days after they hatched, and went to go check on them. The nest was empty (and destroyed). On the ground was the two baby birds. I immediately took the baby birds inside, and put them in my brooder/incubator. The Cowbird was eating perfectly and growing. Now I have been handfeeding the cowbird for almost a week, and starting to wean him. I am experienced bird keeper... So he is in the best of care. I am just wondering, is it legal to keep a Brown-Headed Cowbird as a pet (because of the brood parasitism, many people are prejudiced against them... and even kill them! I have a Trex deck along with a wood fence in my back yard. The Trex deck is close enough to the ground that there is no way to get underneath it. The last few weeks I have been seeing black ants (larger than sugar ants) crawling along the fence and sometimes on the deck. I am assuming they are carpenter ants? I cant see any type of ant hill or nest that they are going to. (There is a large, open field on the other side of the fence. ) I am worried they are eating the fence or the decking supports, and that they will make their way to my house. Is there a wasp nest in my roof?

My bedroom is the loft room of our house, and I've started hearing what sounds like scraping noises in the walls. I can't get my parakeets to mate! Any help?

I have a nesting box. 3 males and 3 females. 1 pair seems to LOVE each over. 2 of the females ceres are deep brown and all 3 of the males have a deep blue color on their ceres. We just got a HUGE cage. They seem so happy. I put the cuttlebone near the box and even some spray millet too. The male always follows the female and the rest just sit alone. I found a black widow living by a cabinet in my home and killed it...?

How to get long hair to hold its shape throughout the day?

I have really long hair(it stops a little past the top of my butt). the strands themselves are fine, but i have a lot of them, so my hairs pretty thick in the sense that it has some nice, medium sized full layers. i recently just had layers cut in. and the 2 hairstyles i love are volume and curls. all curls, messy sleek, or even just some wave.my hair is naturally straight, so i really want to give my hair some body and movement, not just straight. one of the problems that i run into though, is that because my hair is so long, my hair cant seem to keep the shape. keeping volume isn't as big a problem, it lasts pretty well. but even with the layers, which does make my hair lighter, my hair is still a bit heavy. is there any trick i can do or a really great finishing spray or just fabulous product that will allow me to keep my wave and movement through out the day(with out making my hair feel like i just dumped a bottle of Elmer's in it) ?

House sparrow being released?

Hello! Today morning I released a young sparrow, and now I have doubts what I did was right. I hand feed him 19 days (when I got him he was around 3-4 days old), he began to fly one week ago, on Tuesday 21. For the last days I hand reared him every 2 hours, but he also fed on his own... he didn't start to eat big seeds yet. Last three days he was very noisy, and I didn't want him to be closed in an apartment or get used to humans, I also thought he was good in flying. But now that I think back, I truly hope he could find food and other sparrows, and wouldn't miss the syringe. Do you think I should let him go when he would be older and would eat on his own all day long, on your experiences? a also red on the net that sparrows get independent 7- 10 days after they leave the nest (but they leave the nest when they do not yet fly). He also wasn't used of the weather outside, do you think he could find a shelter? And I have one question more..why do you think he was so loud? Even when I fed him he didn't stop cheeping.
