What can I use as a nest in a mouse cage?

A mouse will literally use any kind of material they can find to build a nest. They are not particular. What they will do is shred it and make it conform to their nesting environment. Newspaper, insulation, seat cushion stuffing, styrofoam, cardboard, just to name a few. There seems to be nothing that they cannot adapt to their needs.
