Make you own pore strips using Elmers School Glue..?

I was on YouTube a while ago and I came across this girl (TheMakeuptipsforteen) making her own pore strips using school glue?she claims it's won't damage your skin but I'm not so sure which is why I am asking this qeustion...will it mess up your skin??I'm thinking of trying it but I need an answer....
