How do you get a splinter out from under your cuticle?

Well, you could try like a drawing salve or I've heard of putting bacon on it. Sounds so weird I know...but I've heard that the bacon fat (raw bacon) can draw the splinter out. Also, I think they sell the salve at like CVS or Walgreens (where I got mine). Good luck! :)
