How do i put on fake nails if i dont have anymore nail glue but have elmers glue?

and i dont want to go to the salon cuz this whole week is exams and my mother is trippin sayin that i dont have time to go to the salon dis week when she tells me every two weeks i get my nails done and this is the third week starting 2morrow. Please help me!!
