Tips on how to build toothpick bridge?

I'm building a toothpick bridge for physics class and I'm only allowed to use toothpicks and elmers glue. I only have two weeks left & building this is hard so far because the glue takes so long to dry. Do you guys have any tips on how to build this thing? Thanks!
